Nouvelle – AW13/14 Fashion Trend Forecast Project

These below are some of the pages I selected from my first trend forecasting project when I was in the third year at uni.
We are assigned to create the AW13/14 fashion trend book, which was a three-people group project (I was with Mark and Ja)
Our group started with an idea of the world after the apocalypse and came up with three ideas : Newlander, Nuclear Hero & New Hope
Each of the main trends consists of two different micro trends which are described in the visual information :
The story, keywords, color way, materials, print, surface, A-must details, texture, silhouettes & A-must items

1. Newlander (Lost Souls / Habitation)

Returning the overturned : It is the simple way to get back the balance by adjusting the modern living to the way in the age the balance was

2. Nuclear Hero (Warriors / Artificial World)

The absolute authority : It is the way to dominate and take full control over the nature, to keep things exactly in the way the mankind desires

3. New Hope (Kepler / Mutation)

The renounce and resettle, is the interstellar imperialism, finding an untouched land to abandon the old troublesome ship that we were born and grew on

Bros. by Sretsis is the brand I set up in my fashion merchandising & branding project at uni,
which mainly focuses on how to make a fashion brand remarkable and stand tall in the market.
I chose Sretsis as a base brand as this girlish brand is very strong in characteristics.
To extend the brand, I decided to create the menswear line for a young, romantic boys in town
under the same philosophy as Sretsis. For more details, please read the text in the pictures

A Layered Cake Stack : Print Design for Disaya’s A/W12 tea party

A PROCESS First, I draw these cakes with a pencil on cartridge paper, then scanned them into computer. Digital colored, re-arranged and fixed the details in Adobe Photoshop. A fashion collection for Star Creation 2012 Fashion Contest, but I didn’t finish it at last.

There’s a world out there and I wanna be in it
I got a life and I’m gonna live it
Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit
There’s footprints on the moon
I wanna do my walkin’ down the road less traveled
Sew my dreams where they won’t unravel
If you play it safe you won’t get nowhere
I can’t stay in here when there’s a world out there
I imagine when they land on a brand new planet
In some far off galaxy
Somebody in the rocket’s gonna look out the window
Feeling just like Lizzy and me
