Sunday high, high, and high ceiling

Sunday afternoon , in the greens with the hound trees as ceiling and fences we ran around high ceiling, I’m always fascinated by the space filled with the air above my head. daylight coming in, greens and wood combining a scene. Sitting in a room like this makes us feel so small. the contrasts between the materials and texture here are so inspiring, cozy rawness. airy-and-breezy atmosphere, light and shadow set the lines as a new decoration on the wall oh and here is nature as an art piece behind the bed, no wallpaper nor famous-paints-in-the-frame needed. this one might not be called as a high-ceiling, but the space within this cabinets makes a perfect place to lay on and read, take some afternoon naps or cuddles if you have a lover and a pet or two. These photos at indoors and outdoors always feel so inspiring.I wish i had a chance to own a space like this, my dream studio would be high ceiling and airy , full of woods and greens and the animals… …

What if this cafe last forever?

Starting the idea with ‘what if…?’ question, one group of people has created a brand and business name ‘What If’, suggesting endless possibilities they can do. You might have been heard about What If for a while because they started from making beautifully printed clothes and textiles last year, selling in the Selected and inn-it shop at siam square. The good news is that now What If has expanded and opened their brand new shop and cafe called ‘Caffe Whatif’ at Soi Sukhumvit 31 in Bangkok. With signature drawing works of Pomme Chan, the co-founder and art director, she has brought in her remarkable illustration to the life of household and interior objects and textiles like wallpaper fabrics, ceramics, pillows, tea-towels, etc. I had a chance to visit the cafe and boutique weeks ago and here are some images (just want to share what I discover) Loving this pile of wood logs I particularly love this window display, and all the rustic decoration inside the cafe. ‘May Live Like No Other’Choice of wholewheat bread …

A Walk in the secret world : Karmakamet Diner

Yesterday was one of the rainy days in Bangkok and the cloudy sky was so pleasure to let me in under its cool-tone light. I was romping around the Emporium shopping complex and suddenly think about this new dining place nearby. Karmakamet Diner was just opened weeks ago after the brand’s success in aromatherapy shop and a cafe : Everyday Karmakamet I have once writte about . This is just a soft opening of the restaurant but the lady who accepted my call said ‘sorry darling, we don’t have any more tables to dine in.’ oh yes, being fully booked before the grand opening can tell a lot about this secret wonderland. So If you walk from The Emporium (BTS Prompong Station) , find The Emporium Suite and the two parking buildings on your left, Benjasiri park on your right, walk pass them and then just before the condo building site, There is one small street lying on your left, which leads you to Karmakamet Diner. In front, There is a not-easily-seen-in-bangkok facade, making me feel …
