fashion sketchbook and research : a dancing decay

Drawing&Sketchbook May 8, 2010

a dancing decay‘ is my new fashion project created between
the short course i attended at Central Saint Martins college.
Gaining ideas from a rabbit, shown in the decomposition display at London Natural History Museum,
i was wondered and interested in how living creatures become dead,
and how their body get slowly destroyed by a natural chemical process.

thus the overall collection is going to be based on an animal body in various stage of decay.
between the start and the end of the collection is kind of between-life-an-death
from alive to dead,  flesh to bones,  volumed to flat,
colored to black&white, hydrated to dry…and fresh to old.

here i put the pictures of my research and some of the sketches
this is going to be developed and much more extended
when i have more time and get back to my country.
click to see more of them and hope you like it
