To the Top : mid-term project

.

null

Hi there 🙂 I haven’t been here for a while. It’s been hard days for me all week long.
from the previous post, they were the sketches for  fashion illustrations in this collection.
I spent around one-two weeks  finishing all the things : from the figures to the real dress
and these are the results of what have I done…

.

First of all, It has to be the concept. When the instructor gave us ‘Bangkok’ theme
I was really nervous and got mess with things like buildings and sceneries.
then, I look back at myself and found that I’m a real Bangkok girl who is
educated in the typical Bangkok education. Graduated from Patumwan Demonstration School
and Triamudom Suksa School, I’ve been through many people who are nerds. no, I mean,
there’re  students who are craving to the top of the top, living their life like studying is a race,
and the goal is the best school and university. thus, heaps of extra learning center are established
and make tons of money, which I’d better call ‘education profiteers’
so..that’s the way I drew my inspiration.

.

elements : Govt school uniforms like Khaki shorts, pleat skirt, white shirt , paper layers,
lecture on the whiteboard after class, Physics and Maths formulas and symbols, stack of books, etc.

.

.

and let me introduce you to the target group board,
which I chose Alexa Chung as my muse.
My dream target  is the girl who is
“introvert but charismatic, book-obsessed but unconventional,
extraordinary but farsighted, geek but effortlessly chic, and old-fashioned but stylish”

.

Then, the 30 sketches are divided into six occasions in order :
casual , business, swim , party, elegance, and creative
