Starting the idea with ‘what if…?’ question, one group of people has created a brand and business name ‘What If’, suggesting endless possibilities they can do. You might have been heard about What If for a while because they started from making beautifully printed clothes and textiles last year, selling in the Selected and inn-it shop at siam square. The good news is that now What If has expanded and opened their brand new shop and cafe called ‘Caffe Whatif’ at Soi Sukhumvit 31 in Bangkok. With signature drawing works of Pomme Chan, the co-founder and art director, she has brought in her remarkable illustration to the life of household and interior objects and textiles like wallpaper fabrics, ceramics, pillows, tea-towels, etc. I had a chance to visit the cafe and boutique weeks ago and here are some images (just want to share what I discover)
Loving this pile of wood logs
I particularly love this window display, and all the rustic decoration inside the cafe.
‘May Live Like No Other’
Choice of wholewheat bread with chicken-and-cheese and mushroom dip
Wallpaper and furnishing textiles for sell in yards
For the best sweet treat, I would recommend this strawberry tart on the right corner of this pic. It was definitely mouth-watering. superb!
