Last Friday I visited the new Rikyu hair salon at Sukhumvit 24 for a haircut with my favourite Yohji. After a year of long hair It just happened that I just woke up and decided to give my neck’s back some fresh air breathe. Lucky enough, HEAD & TOE , the new notion of hair and feet interpreted by Rikyu and Muzina, was exhibiting on the 2nd floor. So I sneaked in.
Last week I was invited by Pañpuri to experience the latest two new organic body treatments at Pañpuri Organic Spa, a one-of-a-kind haven in the heart of Bangkok. Not to be exaggerated, but that was probably my most unforgettable spa experience in life, of course in a good way. Since my first step, an elegant environment, friendly staffs, and completely private treatment rooms offered the sense of a serenity and luxury. The therapist asked me to complete my profile and some pre-treatment questions, which give her an insight to my problems and needs.
Yesterday I had a chance to visit the new shop of the Greyhound family, SMILEYHOUND flagship store at Siam Center 3rd floor. The first impression was the decoration itself, the wooden interior, furnitures and entrance box me feel like walking in a container that had been put in a shopping mall. It was pretty eye-catching.
Dear diary, It’s the long-weekend Sunday morning! My idea of long weekend is that it is perfect for giving your tiresome self some nice treats, isn’t it? While everybody else might go out and fight for his/her space on the road towards the countryside, I chose to refresh myself with good places nearby instead. I used to cut my hair short with Yoji at BOY Rikyu Siam Square, but the place I’m taking you today is their another branch at 49 Terrace, Sukhumvit 49. “Rikyu by Boy Tokyo”, is a famous hair salon from Tokyo that does not only offer salon work, they are also interested in art, fashion and lifestyle of Thai-Japanese cross culture. “We hope that our customers feel happier and start their brand new day with their new hair style.” is the motto they keep at work.
Hello dear walkers, It’s July! Six months have already passed by, How many resolutions you made for this year and have not managed to do it yet? To me, a lot of things happened in the first half of 2014 : From January to April I was very busy with applying for a master degree course in the UK. In May and June I was tired writing an essay for a scholarship (which I failed). This month, I’m going to move out from my apartment and go back to stay at home with my family. I resigned from my job for the better experience out of the box. Moreover, I’m going to India this Monday and It has to be an amazing journey. Well, so many things had happened and I need a refresh button for my life and my health. I have no time for taking care of my body. I really want to go for a run, yoga or an exercise but then I was so busy with those stuffs : job, work, study, love, friends….and a lot more that dragged me out of my fit-and-firm schedule – a resolution that I never ever have accomplished.
Fortunately, I have just got a new assistant which is not a person but a wearable fitness tech- Samsung Gear Fit, accompanied with Samsung Galaxy S5, which could track fitness, sleep cycle, heart rate, and etc. Normally I am not really into any fitness device because of their design that make you look really like a tech-geek when wearing it. But the Gear Fit’s sleek design, curved glass, robust set of features and multi-color screen make it more alluring than any fitness device that’s currently available in the crowd now. I chose the black design as it is timeless and goes very well with my other stuffs that are normally in my bag. Here are some examples.
Everyday in my back : Lamy black fountain pen / iPod nano / mola notebook / Moleskine sketchbook / Le Beige de Chanel / Celine sunglasses / Byredo Parfums GYPSY WATER (gives you a masculine, woody scent which is on top of my favourite) / black charcoal / and Samsung Gear Fit in black
