During the recent London Fashion Week in the end of February, I have had a chance to visit Burberry Makers House , where the showcase of the inspiration, the process and design references behind the brand’s second see-now-buy-now collection are exposed. Makers House was opened as a fashion exhibition, offering the public the chance to celebrate the new runway collection freshly after the show, alongside the work of Henry Moore, the iconic artist that inspired it.
London is now the destination for many fashion exhibitions happening this year. Besides CHANEL’s Mademoiselle Privé that took place in Saatchi Gallery during the same period, Here is the exhibition “LOUIS VUITTON SERIES 3”. It is an experimental exhibition that continues from SERIES 1 and 2 that had been shown to the world earlier this year. The Brutalist, former office block next to Somerset House on Strand is the home for the exhibition, inviting visitors to experience a journey that exposed a creative process behind Nicolas Ghesquière‘s Autumn/Winter 2015 women’s collection for Louis Vuitton as an artistic director. Here is some glimpse inside the exhibition shot by my iphone, Sorry for the poor quality and my poor vdo editing skill.
Inside the immersive experiences of the interactive exhibition by Chanel , the secrets of the brand finally unveiled here.
