Burberry Makers House x Henry Moore : unfolding inspiration and process

During the recent London Fashion Week in the end of February, I have had a chance to visit Burberry Makers House , where the showcase of the inspiration, the process and design references behind the brand’s second see-now-buy-now collection are exposed. Makers House was opened as a fashion exhibition, offering the public the chance to celebrate the new runway collection freshly after the show, alongside the work of Henry Moore, the iconic artist that inspired it.

Art in London : Gerhard Richter

London, Visual Inspiration November 29, 2014

My London diary has a lot to do with going to galleries and museums, contemplating at artworks that some of which I can only appreciate visually. However, one of the most exciting pieces of art showing in London right now is an exhibition of new and recent works by a 82-year-old German painter Gerhard Richter. Consisting of over 40 works, with important bodies of new ‘Strip’, ‘Flow’ and ‘Doppelgrau’ paintings, the show will also include a large glass sculpture and a selection of key earlier pieces.

Absolutely, blooming flowers filled with the vivid atmosphere of season
are the spotlight. Butterflies and ladybirds are flattered to the fascination
of flowers and herbals. This circumstance is akin to graduates.
My seniors, the visual arts students, are ready to bloom gallantly.
Here we come butterflies and ladybirds!
